For EACC New York (European American Chamber of Commerce) I wrote an article about investing in Dutch companies.
The article is written for American companies and investors considering expanding their business opportunities to Europe. In seven pages I describe what role Dutch corporate law can play in supporting US investors. The main similarities, but also the differences between Delaware law are briefly decribed and I end with the conclusion that Dutch corporate law offers the American investor ample opportunities to secure his or her interests. And thus, from a corporate law perspective, the Netherlands is a great country to start business expansion in Europe.
